Inclusive and broad-based
This 2-day event, which is the first international one dedicated to this theme, gathered about 1000 participants, more than 20 nationalities, numerous networks and European organizations of non-state actors.
The Climate Chance Europe 2024 Wallonia Summit aims to contribute to the work led by the Belgian presidency of the EU Council on the adaptations to climate change, solutions based on nature and resilience.
This 2-day event, which is the first international one dedicated to this theme, gathered about 1000 participants, more than 20 nationalities, numerous networks and European organizations of non-state actors.
Held at the Palais des Congrès, in our beloved Liège, it is more than 15 workshops, field visits, parallel meetings, two plenary sessions and a cocktail party that enabled the discussion of concrete solutions for achieving the objectives of the European Green Pact.
The pitch corner, a space at the heart of the event, allowed project leaders to present their contributions on climate actions within the European Union and will be published on the Cartographie de l’action, which lists best practices and climate initiatives around the world.
This initiative led to the signing of the Declaration of Liège by an unprecedented coalition of more than 70 European companies, organizations, local authorities and citizens’ organizations. The key messages will be conveyed to the European institutions with a view to a renewed and strengthened European Green Pact after 2024.
Our incredible Folks team worked tirelessly on this project, handling everything from A to Z. Creation of the event graphical charter, emailing campaign, website, registration platform, installation, audiovisual and technical set-up, hospitality, catering, security, animations, speakers, online streaming, interviews, press relations and accommodation.
Several days of installations, short nights and Folks spirit got the work done!
