When Maison Despriet turned 60, they didn’t just want a party. They wanted a celebration that would honor their history, unite generations, and showcase their bold vision for the future. That’s where Folks came in.

The Challenge

How do you turn six decades of success into one unforgettable experience for over 2,000 guests? Employees, partners, suppliers, and clients – all coming together for one extraordinary night at WEX, Marche-en-Famenne.

Our mission was clear: create a vibrant, family-centered celebration that blends nostalgia with innovation, all while staying true to Maison Despriet’s values of trust, respect, and courage.

The Concept

We brought the sixties back to life with a fully immersive event concept that transported guests on a journey through time:

  • A time-travel tunnel leading to 1965 – because every great story starts at the beginning.

  • A vintage village square with food stalls, live music, and even the recreation of Maison Despriet’s very first storefront.

  • A spectacular plenary show, written and performed with theatrical finesse, turning 60 years of family stories into a heartfelt, funny, and inspiring experience.

  • A food market from 1965 to 2025, where guests could taste, explore, and celebrate Maison Despriet’s community spirit.

  • An electric evening program with live music, a cover band battle, and a DJ set that kept the dance floor alive until late.

Since 2012, Folks has joined forces with the Lions Club Liège Airport to organize a rather significant event right at the heart of Liège, at the RTBF Médiarives Studio 40. A gastronomic and lyrical evening for the benefit of Lions Club Liège Airpot charities.
